Zaytoven is an American DJ, pianist and record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. He works with big names in the music rap scene such as Gucci Mane, Migos, and Travis Scott. In 2011, he won a Grammy award for contributing to Usher’s album Raymond v. Raymond. He was also the writer and co-producer for the single “papers” together with Sean Garret.

Short biography
Zaytoven was born Xavier L. Dotson on January 12, 1980, in Frankfurt, Germany. His family later relocated to San Francisco, California when he was still a little kid.He has 3 siblings and they grew up in San Francisco. His father is a priest and his mother is a choir director. He went to high school in San Francisco’s Galileo Academy of Science and Technology.
Career
When they moved to Atlanta, Zaytoven started working as a DJ and Record producer. He started his professional career in 1997. He also began to write songs. He first worked with rapper Gucci Mane and from then on, he has been working on all Gucci Mane’s albums.
Zaytoven started his career as a singer when he released a mixtape called “Trap Boy” featuring Gucci Mane. He later in the same year released two more mixtapes, “Free Gucci”, with “Waka Flocka Flame” and “ZayTown PT 2”. He continued to release other mixtapes till 2015.
