He stated that one of his high school friends, William Aston, got him into rapping. Aston is also a rapper, and the two have collaborated on a few songs. They have also performed together during the ‘Lil Uzi Vert & Friends’ concert. Uzi was first noticed by producer Don Cannon, co-owner of record label Generation Now. Symere signed a record deal with this label shortly after meeting Cannon. Together, they released ‘Luv is Rage’ in 2015.
