What happened to Prince William’s hair? The Duke of Cambridge debuted a shaven haircut on January 18 as he attended a benefit event to help veterans find work in the NHS. William, who is expecting his third baby with the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, met with sick children as he made his way to the event.
Loving the new haircut Prince William!
Prince William looked all the more dashing with his clean haircut. His thinning hair has been the subject of jokes for his wife and brother Prince Harry in recent years.
Back in 2014, during an alpaca shearing demonstration, Middleton joked that the Prince should put the fallen wool on his head. She apparently said to him, “You need it more than me.” Several years ago, Prince Harry was quoted saying that his older brother “was already bald aged 12.”
Seems like Prince William has had enough of it as he decided to snip all of it! “Shaving his head gives a dramatic change to his appearance as it has changed his face shape making his face appear fuller and I actually think it shows off his appearance more giving him more confidence,” said Scotland’s hairdresser of the year, Dylan Brittain.
William debuted his brand new hair do at Evelina’s Children’s hospital in London, where he showed support for the Step Into Health initiative. The programme aims to help war veterans find jobs in the health service.
Making his way through the ground floor, the handsome Prince took time to greet the sick children there and their parents.
