After Gianni Versace was murdered in 1997, the whole world turned their eyes to his little sister, Donatella Versace. The youngest child of the fashion-inclined family, Donatella had big shoes to fill at the fashion house.
She successfully guided Versace past the horrible situation her family was facing and quickly became the face of the company. The world was mesmerized by her prowess in the industry. However, her changing face became a topic of controversy and a frequent hit piece material.
Today, she is the vice president and chief designer of Versace. She worked with her brother for more than a decade and was his muse. The last two years of Gianni’s life, Donatella unofficially took over the business.

Donatella’s face had changed considerably since 1997. Three months after Gianni Versace’s death, she made an appearance at the VH1 Fashion Awards. She looked much younger than her age and her face showed signs of plastic surgery. She was 42 then.
That year, she also sparked surgery rumors with her Met Gala appearance alongside Madonna and Cher.

Alongside business, Donatella was raising her two children with her husband Paul Beck. The couple called it quits in 2000.
By 2002, there was no doubt that Donatella had been under the knife to change her look. Over the years, she also appeared with a darker skin and fuller lips. She became a poster girl for the trout pout.
The fashion mogul never bothered to comment on her transformation until 2013, when she admitted that she uses Botox. She went on to say that she doesn’t believe in an “all natural” look.
In the past few years, Donatella’s face has become unrecognizable. She might be the powerhouse of one of the greatest fashion houses in the world but even Donatella Versace cannot escape wrinkles.
