Her interest in the music and entertainment industries was built at a young age following her parents’ career in entertainment.  She had a guided choice from seeing her parents host the show, The Marla And Dave Show. Moniece has slowly been building a career in songwriting and starring on reality TV series, Love & Hip Hop.

The musician began her love life when she dated a fellow music artist called, Tank. She later separated ways with this guy who cheated on her several times.  Moniece had even been pregnant with his child, but she chose not to keep the pregnancy that would remind her of their tumultuous relationship. She was only 19 years old when all this was happening.

She had a second relationship with a fellow songwriter, Lil Fizz, in 2015. This again never worked well after their dramatic relationship came to an end even after they had been engaged. It is in this relationship that she got her son, Kamron David Fredric.
