Matthew Broderick was born on 21st March 1962 in Manhattan, New York, USA. He was born to Irish Catholic father James Broderick who was also an actor and Jewish mother Patricia who was a playwright, painter, and an actress.
He attended City and Council School and also graduated high school from Walden School in a drama program.
His first role was in the playwright’s Horton Foote’s ‘On Valentine’s Day’. He is recognized as the voice of adult Simba in ‘The Lion King’ movies. His one important role in the 90s was in the movie ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’.
He has starred in numerous other movies like ‘The Cable Guy’, ‘Infinity’, ‘Trainwreck’ and ‘Manchester by the Sea’.
