On 15 January 2018, Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West have welcomed their third child – a baby daughter. Kim confirmed the news via her Twitter.
Kim Kardashian reveals her baby’s details in an official letter
Following the birth of their baby, Kim has shared a letter on her official website which says that her daughter arrived at 12:47 am. She also revealed that the baby weighed 7 lbs and 6 oz at the time of birth. She has not revealed the baby’s name yet.
She showed her gratitude to the surrogate in the letter as, “Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.” “North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister,” she added.
Kim Kardashian says she feels bad for not being able to carry her baby herself
It was not easy for Kim and Kanye to decide to have their baby via surrogacy but they were left with no option as Kim suffered from complications during both her previous pregnancies. She insisted that the process has proven to be stressful.
She said, “Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control.” What stresses her the more is the fact that she was able to carry her first two babies and not now. “It’s definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area,” she continued.
Kim had a lavish baby shower in November last year but she did not invite her surrogate as she did not want to confuse her children.
