Impressed the Orange County Choppers offered him to design for them full time. He has been the Lead Designer at OCC since 2004. Orange County Choppers is the subject of the popular reality series, “American Chopper,” and its spin-off, “American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior” which Jason Pohl has been a part of.
Mr. Pohl’s primary job at OCC is to take two-dimensional drawings and convert the ideas into three-dimensional plans. But what he does is more intricate than that, it involves research and development, conceptual sketching, 3D modeling, and photorealistic rendering of design ideas. And once client-approved designs are ready for fabrication, Pohl moves on to the CNC programming and machining of the unique, complex components that comprise a one-of-a-kind bike from Orange County Choppers (OCC).
