Torrey DeVitto whose birth name is Torrey Joel DeVitto was born on June 8th, 1984 making her almost 35 years of age. She was born in Huntington which is on Long Island in New York. She was born to her mother Mary nee Torrey and father Liberty DeVitto. Her father was a well-known drummer who played for Billy Joel over a long time. Her star sign is Gemini, and she is nicknamed Tor or Jo. Early life

Torrey was raised in Winter Park, Florida by both her parents and three other siblings who were all girls. They spent a lot of time touring as a family, and they spent all Thanksgiving celebrations with Billy Joel. Torrey DeVitto created a warm bond with Billy’s daughter, Alexa and they grew up as good friends and created many memories together. She went to Youngsville Elementary School where she would play the violin so well by the age of twelve. She later attended Winter Park High School where she graduated.

Career

Torrey DeVitto started modeling when she was just 15 years old. This made her appear in commercials that were a major boost to her acting career that she would pursue later in life. She was signed to two modeling agencies, Ford and Avenue. She also did modeling for different fashion blogs and magazines like ‘Cliché magazine, Miami living, Chicago splash” among others. Torrey later decided to drop modeling and focus on acting. This was in 2002. She also continued to play the violin between 2004 and 2011 featuring in “Stevie Nicks” album “in your dreams” among others.

In acting, she first featured in a role in the year 1999. This was a series on the “WB” called “Safe harbor.” Later on in the year 2002, she managed to feature in a TV series called “Noah Knows Best” which featured on Nickelodeon. She then continued to build her name in acting with featuring as major roles in “The Vampire   Diaries,” “One Tree Hill,” “Army Wives” and “Chicago med” that airs on NBC.

She then dated a famous actor from “Dancing With The Stars,” Artem Chigvinster from 2016-2017. Torrey is currently dating “Chicago P.D” actor called Jesse Lee Soffer, and they have been together since September 2018.
