In 2014 the rumour mill had run a story that Chumlee the “Pawn Stars,” star was dead. This was later confirmed to be false news and a hoax. It had been reported that Chumlee had suffered a heart attack and died.
Chumlee straight away went to his Twitter account to dilute that story. He posted
“May we live long, Rich forever.”
His co-star Rick also went ahead to debunk the news in a post that read;
“Breaking news: CHUMLEE IS ALIVE & WELL! He is actually filming today but we all really appreciate everyone’s concern!”

“@chumlee_ is ALIVE & WELL! He is 101 lbs down & in the best health of his life! Thanks for your concern! He is filming today at GS Pawn.”

Pawn Star had lost one of its key cast members. In June 2018, Richard Harrison, who was referred to “The Old Man” on the television series Pawn Stars, died.
Harrison’s son and co-star for the show, Rick Harrison, made the announcement to more than 245,000 of his Instagram followers on Monday. He attributed his father’s death to Parkinson’s. His statement read:
“Today I lost a friend, a father, a teacher and so much more,” he wrote. “The Old Man lost his long battle with Parkinson’s this morning. Love you Dad. See you on the other side.”
A representative for the Harrisons’ family also confirmed the news of the ‘Old Man’s’ death, and issued a statement Rick shared to Instagram saying.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend Richard ‘The Old Man’ Harrison, a beloved member of the HISTORY and ‘Pawn Stars’ family,” the statement reads. “He will be greatly missed for his wisdom and candour. Our thoughts are with the Harrison family during this difficult time.”
It was a very sad day for the Pawn Star fans and Harrison’s family.
