Biography

Aaron Coady was born on November 28, 1981, in Newton, Iowa. As a child, Aaron was constantly bullied for being gay. This made him drop out of high school before graduating. Aaron adopted the name Sharon Needles in 2004 when he started working as a drag performer in Pittsburgh. He gained his fame, as we mentioned before, as a contestant on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’. After winning, he gained the most votes to appear on ‘RuPaul’s All Stars Drag Race’, but he declined. He started his career as a musician in 2013 and has released two albums and seven singles so far. The 35-year-old star now lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his boyfriend, Chad O’Connell.
